Graphic design work for architecture studio BARE's exhibition of installation works—Air Beam Pavilion (2021), Air Cap Pavilion (2016), and Air Pod (2021)—newly presented at Factory2.

The visual expression of the light properties of 'air' was achieved through the use of rounded fonts and typography layouts that break the grid. The arrangement of letters appearing to float in the air and the flexibly flowing composition reflect the lightness and fluidity of the air-filled pavilions.

This strongly contrasts with BARE's existing identity, which is bold and impactful. BARE's heavy box-modular font meets the light typography of the Air series, demonstrating the architecture studio's broad spectrum. 건축 스튜디오 바래(BARE)가 에어빔 파빌리온(2021), 에어캡 파빌리온(2016), 에어팟(2021)을 팩토리2에 새롭게 선보이는 설치물 전시를 위한 그래픽 디자인 작업이다.

동글동글한 폰트 사용과 그리드를 깬 타이포그래피 레이아웃으로 가벼운 'air'의 속성을 시각적으로 표현했다. 글자들이 공중에 떠 있는 듯한 배치, 유연하게 흐르는 구성은 공기로 채워진 파빌리온의 경쾌함과 유동성을 반영한다.

볼드하고 임팩트가 강한 BARE의 기존 아이덴티티와 강력하게 대비된다. BARE의 묵직한 박스 모듈형 폰트와 에어 시리즈의 가벼운 타이포그래피가 만나며, 건축 스튜디오의 폭넓은 스펙트럼을 보여준다. 견고한 구조와 가벼운 공기라는 상반된 물성이 시각 언어로 충돌하고 조화를 이루는 작업이다.
